The South Shore Remembers Fundraiser

The South Shore Remembers weaves classic 1940s music with the real stories, sacrifices, and everyday moments of Queens, Shelburne, and Yarmouth counties. This show is an engaging, nostalgic tribute to our home front and a celebration of South Shore community resilience.

Supporting Local: All proceeds go directly to Milton Memorial Hall.

Welcome to this year’s MRTC Annual December Pageant Program! Building on last year’s amazing triple threat performance, we are thrilled to invite your performer on a magical global journey! Our cast will act, sing, and dance through celebratory Christmas songs from around the world. Weaving from one number to the next in true tri-star fashion, this pageant is set to be a magical holiday celebration for our whole MRTC family!

Fee: $250

(You can pay choose to pay $125 when registering and $125 by October 15)

Cast Age Groups

"The Littles": Age 6-10
"The Teens": Age 11-17

Please note that the two cast groups have weekly rehearsals at different times, but both groups are part of the same show and we bring them together for the Dress Rehearsal and the Pageant Show.

A FUNDRAISER FOR AUTISM NOVA SCOTIA

Four years ago, Quinn McArthur emailed Ashley-Rose (MRTC founder) asking if she'd help her with a script about her experience with autism.

That script turned into a fantastic play titled THE DYSFUNCTIONAL SHOW FOR THE DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILY: THE SCOTTS'

It’s funny, real, and based directly on Quinn's lived experience. The story follows an all-autistic family navigating a world built for neurotypical people, narrated by Hazel. It handles the key traits and struggles of neurodiverse life in a way that’s informative and sensitive, but also genuinely funny.

All proceeds from the show go directly to Autism Nova Scotia.
